Rooms for Naadam are Fully Booked

Dear guests,

Another year has come and we are already receiving many booking requests. This is to notify that our guesthouse has been fully booked between July 8 and July 25, 2007, and we are not accepting any bookings. We do, however, suggest that you call us one week before your arrival just to check in case we have openings.

As another exciting summer is approaching and we are preparing to receive new guests, we are exploring ways to improve our service, including our blog.

I would greatly appreciate if you could give me suggestions on what kind of information you would like to see on this blog.

Thank you and I look forward to seeing you this summer!

Sincerely,
Zaya

Group Discount on Tourist Visas

The UB Post writes that Mongolia will be offering discount to group travelers.

The news article notes that a group of 5-10 people will receive 25% discount and a group with over 10 people will receive 50% discount on Mongolian visa fees.

Some restrictions may apply to Chinese nationals, so please check with your local Mongolian embassy or consular office.

Our New Site Launched

Please visit our new website that was made possible with the support of Chintushig, who now studies at the American University of Cairo. Chintuk volunteered to use his excellent html skills to do this site. If you cannot log on to it, our address is http://www.mongolia-travel-hostel-zaya.com/.

The major improvement of this site to the previois one is that you can book online! We also have a forum and more detailed information about our rooms and services.

I hope you will enjoy it!

Welcome!

Dear all,

Welcome to our blog!

Zaya Guest House has become more and more popular in the past few years. I am very happy to know that many guests chose us not only through searching online or looking at travel books, but also through personal referrals. Thank you all who stayed with us for spreading the good words!

Since we first started in 1996, we have received so many guests! In order to capture those memorable moments, we created a guest book for people to leave their comments and contact information. Today, that book has long been filled and we have created many more guest books now placed on the tables of each apartment.

Our family decided to create this blog not only to better serve visitors by putting more FAQs on Mongolia, but also to let you see the beautiful messages left by our previous guests. I will soon start scanning and uploading their comments. I am now working to set up Q&A Section. I sincerely believe that this blog will not merely become a place for me to post guest house information or guest comments. I hope this blog will become a lively international community where we can discuss and share ideas!

Please be respectful to each other and post only relevant questions and comments!

Thank you and happy holidays!!

Best,
Zaya
